Frequently Asked Questions:

“Why do I need a reservation?”
To ensure that we have a successful day horseriding, we need to prepare the horses a few houres in advance. To do this we need to know the exact number of riders. If you are unable to attend, or wish to bring a friend, please let us know at least a day before the chosen time. For whatever reason 24 hours notice is required to cancel bookings. Cancellation need to made by only telephone 0039-3421295935 no textmessages. We ask a deposit for the reservation. No show/no call, non refundable.

“What should I wear/bring?”

Westrongly recommend you wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, also in the warm summermonths. NO flip-flops! In the summer, you will want sunscreen and a bottle of water for more then two hour rides.Wearing large cameras, bags, backpacks or purses on the ride is not allowed, and we will safely store your gear until after the ride. Do bring your pocket size camera!

“Can children ride?”

Children are allowed to ride down the trail, but a guide might lead the horse on a rope if we think its necessary for safety. The young children ho never rode before, we will guide by hand, but max for one and half hour.

Riding double with an adult is not allowed, because it is considered dangerous. We provide helmets and bodyprotector for children until 14 years old. Obbligated by law.

“Are there weight restrictions?”

We recommends a weight limit of 90 kilo's. We ask that you notify us of this when you make your reservation, as well as any other special needs. Riding is NOT recommended for pregnant women.

“Do you ride in the rain?”

We do ride in a bit of the rain, but we do not ride in severe thunderstorms where conditions are unsafe. This means we have to reschedule. We really dont like to disappoint guests, but we always put safety first.

“Why can’t we ride faster?”

In the trail rides we do only the walkingpass. There are a few reasons:

* first, the rocky and hilly trails are not easy to trot and gallop on.

*Second, if one horse goes in trot in the front, the last horses will gallop fast we can have people with us who have hardly or never ridden, who could not safely handle riding faster. Riders who has had no proper lessons in trotting and gallop will injure the back of the horse.

*The horse that goes faster today will likely expect to go faster tomorrow, and may be carrying someone who can’t handle it.

We make exeptions for experienced riders who have to make special reservations.
